OMG!!!!!!!!! April 10,2010 has got to be one of the best nights I’ve ever had!!! Super Junior came to Manila and held a concert for their ever growing fanbase in the Philippines. Boy, it was a blast!!! (as strongly evidenced by my numerous exclamation points..)
I’ve always hated waiting in lines, but this was one instance I wasn’t complaining. Just being there in front of Araneta, knowing I was going to see them was enough to keep me quiet and not complain about waiting too long or the heat. I really felt the excitement and tension in the air, as we, the fans, waited to enter the coliseum. It was exhilirating! I was so giddy the whole time, even my sisters! We were all waiting with bated breaths, that even a slight disturbance at the gates made us excited fan girls scream with excitement, and it happened a lot of times. It was an experience waiting there.
As we entered Araneta, our excitement built. We went to our seats and it was not yet 6pm. The show starts at 7pm, so we while away the time watching as other excited fans get in, buying food so we wont get hungry in the middle of the show, and hoping that the dome will get filled with a lot of people. We wanted a huge audience for our boys!! So, as 7pm neared, the excitement grew so much, it was palpable in the air, even commercial breaks shown on the huge LED screen created commotion and screaming. Imagine Piolo in the Bench jeans ad creating a ruckus among the fangirls, as if Super Junior themselves already came out! That’s how excited we were, knowing it was just a matter of time before we see our boys.
Finally, the lights were turned off. The only illumination left were our sapphire blue light sticks and it was a sight to behold!! A sea of blue, it was! The screaming started, the huge LED screen lighted and came the intro video..something about comets. I literally held my breath! and then I saw Kangin and appear out of the comet, and everyone went wild, at least I know I did because everything that came after that was a blur! I was so overwhelmed that I just kept staring for sometime. I cannot believe I was actually seeing them in person! I mean, they’re actually real and not just some figment of my imagination! That was what I was thinking the whole time! Then I snapped out of my trance as I saw them all on stage. Then, I screamed my lungs out.
The good thing about the concert , well aside from the fact that it’s Super Junior, was that it started on time. I thought we were going to wait and the show was going to start late, but no, the boys were on time. Prolly there at the venue very early.=) There were no front acts, just pure, undiluted, non stop Super Junior show, from start to finish.
I got to say, Leeteuk is looking really good! He was my favorite in the concert! He was so good to us Filipino fans and he looked genuinely happy to be there. Kyu is looking fine too. I fell in love with him in this concert. Heechul is so handsome too, having cut his hair. He is so our milky-skinned Heechul!! kekeke~~~ Yesung was so energetic and funny, so variety!!! and boy, his vocal prowess is to die for!! Sungmin made me speechless when he did his solo. I swear his voice keeps getting better. Ryeowook earned a lot of screams when he did his solo stage. Shindong was such a cutie pie, learning to count form 1 to 10 in Tagalog and saying “anu ba yan” and “pasensya na po”. Dong Hae was one hot property especially when he sang his solo song and danced with Eunhyuk in his solo stage, which also gave me my starstruck with Eunhyuk moment. His dance moves were so smooth and I liked what he wore there. I was so sad for Siwon though, because he was not feeling well, he was such a perky soul in the other concerts but he was a little quiet here. I missed seeing that. I noticed that he made an early exit towards the end of the show and he just came out when the group were saying their goodbyes. But, still, thanks to him, he didn’t fail us fans and gave the show all he got.=) Henry and Zhoumi were also fantastic. Henry, with his violin skills and goofy antics, when he wore those white boxer briefs towards the end, and Zhoumi and his power vocal chords, were a delight to us fans.
I loved the whole concert, it was truly worth the wait and the cost. Here are good fancams of some of their performances plus some bonus funny and “kilig” stuff. Thanks to those who shared fancams and pictures!=)

this was so hilarious!!! I didn’t know the fans threw condoms and underwear and other what nots. The boys just took it in stride and seem o be enjoying it! Hyukie’s reaction was priceless!! This is a must watch vid!!!
